Two days to clear the shelves for the autumn collection. Summer yarns at thirty percent off, discontinued colours at half price and a table of single skeins that have to go.

Sale prices apply in the shop only, and the good colours never last until Sunday afternoon.

10:00 to 17:00, Saturday and Sunday.

The summer edition of the weekly knit café moves outdoors. We take the folding chairs to the bandstand, spread out a few blankets and stay until the light goes.

Cancelled without notice if it rains, so check the website that morning.

18:30 until dusk, free. Bring your own chair if you have one.

A full day for knitters who can already read a pattern and want to move on. Morning is cables without a cable needle, afternoon is two colour knitting with an even tension on both hands.

Lunch and a pattern booklet are included. Bring your own needles in four and four and a half millimetres.

10:00 to 16:00, 95 euro. Eight places.

A Sunday where the whole family makes something together: weaving, printing with stamps cut from potatoes, and a wall of wool where the youngest visitors can simply pull things apart.

Free for children, and the grown ups get their coffee at cost price.

11:00 to 16:00, walk in at any point.

The season closes the way it started, with the doors open and the tables outside. A record player, something on the grill and a show and tell corner for everything that came off the needles this summer.

Bring your finished projects, however small. Everyone who does gets a raffle ticket for the autumn yarn box.
